Thank you for visiting our class website! I am really looking forward to working with you and your child this year. I have taught Kindergarten for 20 years and can truly say it has been a joy! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and English from Oklahoma Baptist University with a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. I have been happily married to Warren Pybas for 37 years. We have two grown children, Angela and Justin. Angela and her husband, Jason, have two wonderful boys, Andrew and Noah. Justin and his wife, Lisa, are new parents. Their daughter, Layla Ruth, was born May 28, 2010. We all enjoy spending time together and especially enjoy rooting for the Sooners during football season. Warren and I are members of Quail Springs Baptist Church where I teach Kindergarten Sunday School and play in the adult Handbell Choir. 

Our school's focus for this year is "We are the Champions".  Our year will be full of fun and hard work as your child begins the exciting adventure of reading.  We will also begin a new math program full of "hands-on" activities and high expectations.  Thanks for partnering with me to help your child become a life-long lover of reading and a mathematician who really understands and can use math concepts.
